Heather York brings 30 years of experience to the ICT space, with deep expertise in video accessibility spanning captioning, subtitling, and audio description. She was an active member of COAT, supporting the coalition’s efforts around the original CVAA, and served on the FCC Disability Advisory Committee and related FCC committees from 2007 to 2025, contributing to IP captioning rules, Caption Quality rules, and AI Captioning Rules. A frequent speaker at TDI’s Biennial Conference, HLAA, M-Enabling, and NAB Show, she currently serves as Director of Marketing at Flexagon, an Oracle ISV.
