Brian Steinhoff

Director

Brian Steinhoff is a Deaf services leader, accessibility advocate, and communications strategist with more than two decades of experience advancing equity for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, and ASL communities. As Director of Communications at Propio Language Services, he advances language access, interpreter networks, and strategic partnerships. He teaches Deaf culture as an adjunct professor at Valencia College. Brian founded Deaf Florida, Inc., which partners with professional sports teams, including Inter Miami, the Florida Panthers, the Orlando Magic, and the Tampa Bay Rays, to host ASL Awareness Nights. He also founded and led the Florida Deaf Art Show for more than a decade. Working with government agencies, Brian helped implement Florida Statute 322.051(8)(c), which identifies Deaf drivers to support safer interactions with law enforcement. He has presented nationally on accessibility and community engagement.
