In a continuing effort to inform deaf and hard of hearing consumers concerning public policies and issues related to technology access, their rights to telecommunications access as persons with hearing loss, and the ever-increasing new technologies that may be of benefit to deaf and hard of hearing people, TDI maintains a publication program that includes:
- Annual TDI National Directory and Resource Guide, commonly known as The Blue Book
- Quarterly TDI World magazine
- TDI eNotes electronic newsletter
If you’d like to subscribe to our eNotes, please do! It’s completely free for everyone!
The Blue Book and TDI World magazine are distributed to all TDI members while the TDI eNotes are sent by email to any other interested persons that subscribe. The TDI World magazine features articles by guest writers — some technology experts and others simply consumers with stories to tell about their access problems and experiences with accessible technologies. If you’re not already a member and would like to sign up to be able to receive the Blue Book and the TDI World magazine, it’s actually very easy to sign up!
TDI is always happy to receive and review articles related to technology access for possible inclusion in one of its publications. TDI is always in continual need of guest writers, and encourages people with “something to say” to contact the TDI office and volunteer to write an article for one of TDI’s publications. Just send your article to us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll be happy to review it for publication in TDI World!
You are welcome to browse articles from past issues of TDI World, by visiting the TDI World Archives. We hope you find the information in our publications useful.
