tEXPO at TDI Conference: Exhibitors, Demonstrations and Raffle Prizes, all for free! July 28-29 in Bethesda, MD!


TDI is proud to announce a new program feature for its upcoming Conference.  We will have both exhibits and product/service demonstrations on Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29.  This new program is called tEXPO.  The letter “t” stands for technology, and the rest, EXPO, means exposition.  We encourage you all to support the industry by coming to their exhibits and demos or as a whole – the tEXPO.

There won’t be any charge for anyone to attend the 19 exhibits, and 10 demonstrations on both days.  Attendance to both exhibits and demonstrations is free, but we ask that you please register online so that we can know how many people to expect. Register now by clicking here, Select the option “Exhibits Only Registration (FREE every day, but you must register)” – it will not cost you anything.

If you attend all 19 exhibits by bringing your passport to each exhibit, and having each exhibitor stamp the passport, verifying your attendance to its booth, you will be eligible for 15 wonderful prizes.  Check the information at end of this page about the prizes, and the requirements to be eligible for these prizes!

As we said, attendance to exhibits and product/service demos is free, but we ask that you please register online so that we can know how many people to expect.  Register now by clicking here. Select the option “Exhibits Only Registration (FREE every day, but you must register)” – it will not cost you anything.

To participate in the raffle, visit each of the exhibits at the conference.  We will provide each of you with a “passport” that has all the exhibitors’ names/logos in it.  You must have all of the 19 exhibitors stamp your passport in the area where their organization names/logos are in the passport, verifying that you have visited their booth. When you have received all the stamps from all of the exhibitors, drop off your passport at the TDI Raffle Desk, which will be visibly located in the Exhibit Hall.  Then you will have made yourself eligible for the raffle!  Come visit our exhibits, and try your luck with the raffles.  You may be the one to win one of the prizes!

The Raffle Drawing will be held in Salon D, Main Level at 4:30pm on Saturday, July 29, 2017.   Again, to remind you, to be eligible to win, a completed “Passport” must be submitted to the TDI Raffle Desk in the Exhibit Hall by 4:30pm on Saturday, July 29.  To be deemed completed and eligible for entry, the passport must be completed, including your name, contact information, and proof of visitation of all required vendors during the conference.  Incomplete entries may be rejected.  You need not be present to win.  Odds of winning shall depend upon the number of qualified entries.  This promotional raffle is sponsored by Telecommunications for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Inc. Come one, come all to the tEXPO, a consumer exhibition and demonstration event within the 22nd TDI Biennial Conference on Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29.

While we strongly encourage you to attend the full conference, if you prefer to only register to attend the Conference for a day on either Thursday, July 28 or Friday, July 29, you absolutely can!  Saturday, July 29 is Consumers’ Day, so all are welcome to attend, and you do not need to register to experience what the TDI has to offer for the day.

This Conference offers you and others a wonderful three-day’s experience and opportunities for personal/professional development.  You learn about the latest in public policy for disability access, to network with others from with business and government, and to visit the exhibits that give you the latest information and hands-on experience with accessible products and services.  You meet the industry leaders that have worked with TDI and its sister consumer groups in the last two years on access topics such as relay services, emergency communications, wireless communications and information, and captioning of video programming.
